• Provide accessible, comprehensive resources for P&C Associations to achieve their goals
• Improve integrity of member data, and streamline processes
• Capture member sentiment through meaningful consultation across all channels and improve communication and services in line with demonstrated needs and preferences
• Develop and execute a Diversity and Inclusion strategy
• Promote and recognise excellence in P&C Association work

• Activate and engage parents and carers through consultation and representation
• Develop external advocacy competency including communications, PR and media
• Implement Partnership Agreement & nurture relationship
with the Department of Education
• Host and promote thought leaders in public education

• Return to sustainable financial position to align with current 3 year strategic plan
• Develop new revenue streams through additional services for members, and strategic corporate partnerships
• Increase board effectiveness by updating the Federation’s Constitution
• Develop a people and culture plan to increase attraction and retention of staff
• Build a strong pipeline of future board members

1. Policy

Engage with members to develop and implement a policy roadmap for the day-to-day operations of P&C Associations and current and emerging issues in public education in NSW.

2. Advocacy

Be the voice with value for parents and school communities that is heard and recognised and influences decision-makers to support the aspirations of members.

3. Education and Events

Showcase P&C Associations and their role in educating and supporting parents and the wider community, highlighting key annual events, celebrations and ongoing professional development.

4. Member Services and Engagement

Create an environment that engages and empowers members and delivers valued services to diverse groups of parents and carers through respectful partnerships between staff and school communities.

5. Member Recognition

Celebrate and honour outstanding and dedicated P&C Association volunteers and staff as role models through awards and special events.

6. Communications

Promote the P&C Association vision of quality public education through internal and external communication to members, stakeholders and the public, including traditional and social media.

Create connections for thriving school communities in collaborative state, national and international partnerships with education authorities, community and corporate organisations.
