The Federation of Parents and Citizens Associations of New South Wales (P&C Federation) has a contemporary new logo that represents youthful Australia and our sky, water and land.
Commissioned to mark the centenary in 2022 of P&C Federation NSW, the logo is a visual symbol of a modern organisation that values its long and proud history as the peak body of public school Parents and Citizens Associations.
The vision of P&C Federation is for vibrant, inclusive and high-quality public school communities. Our mission is to empower P&C Associations and to promote and enhance public education in NSW, with more than 800,000 students and growing.
We are committed to a free public education system that is open to all people irrespective of culture, gender, academic ability and socioeconomic status. We believe that students should be empowered to be contributing members of society.
Our more than 1,800 P&C Association members make up one of the strongest volunteering communities in NSW, with more than 8,000 elected Office-Bearers and thousands more members.
Most parents and carers of public school students know about P&C Associations and many volunteer in some way, from one hour to thousands of hours.
P&C Federation works closely with the NSW Department of Education and other education stakeholder groups, and represents the voice of parents and carers through councillors and delegates.
The Federation of Parents and Citizens Associations of New South Wales was established in 1922 and incorporated in 1976 by an Act of the NSW Parliament. The new logo was approved by the P&C Federation Board on 2 February 2022.
