The P&C Federation NSW was established over 100 years ago and is committed to a free public education system, open to all people irrespective of culture, gender, academic ability, and socio-economic class.
Every 2 years, the P&C Federation NSW Board (The Board) is elected from the parent and carer body of P&C Association Members.
The Board is working to empower parents and carers in the education process, to engage closely with the NSW Department of Education and other educational stakeholder groups, and to be the representative voice when issues and policies require advocacy and discussion.
By participating in the voting process or as a candidate, you will be supporting public education in NSW and students in the public school system.

What is a Councillor & Delegate
The Board supports public education by contributing to the policies and issues affecting students and parents across the NSW public school system. By nominating yourself to become a Councillor to sit on the Federations’ board or a as Delegate to participate in the AGM, you have the opportunity to engage with the NSW Department of Education, peak bodies and give a voice to parents and carers like you. This is a professional development opportunity and as a volunteer you can contribute if you have a child currently in the public school system.
