Do you have a check list for operation of a BBQ eg checking that all fittings are secured
Have you provided a sign in sheet for volunteers
Have you distributed an overview of the duties required to your volunteers
Have you made sure that any children (10 years and older) who are assisting your activity have permission from their parent/carer
Have you organised monitoring and cleaning of all amenities such as rubbish/toilets etc
Have you ensured that the area is well lit and easy to enter and depart for guests
Have you ensured that any First Aid requirements for the event are in place
Have you developed a traffic management plan including liaising with local police & council

Risk Management;
Step 1 - Identify your risks. Step 2 – Analyse your risks. Step 3 - Evaluate your risks. Step 4 – Treat your risks. Step 5 – Monitor and review the risks.
A Risk Management Plan should be used anytime that risks need to be managed. For example, during a fete, a barbecue or a stall a Risk Management Plan is created to identify and manage the risk involved with the project delivery. Please note in the box below any risks that you consider significant for this event.
